A single act of kindness

Have you done something for someone else today, whether it was for someone you know or a complete stranger? I asked myself this question after a stranger showed me an act of kindness yesterday.  It all started when I realized I had a flat tire. I was 45 minutes away from home and couldn't get ahold of anyone. Suddently a random stranger, who was only 18, stopped and asked if I needed help. He was kind and polite and changed my tire immediatly. I was blown away that this random stranger would take the time out of his day to help me! It's crazy what a simple act of kindness can do for someone! I'm challenging myself to be more aware of people around me and to take time to help someone each day. I even think something as simple as a smile or a hello can brighten someone's day.

"A single act of kindness throws out roots in all directions, and the roots spring up and make new trees. The greatest work that kindness does to others is that it makes them kind themselves" -Amelia Earhart

                                                            Have a wonderful day!

  2. This is a great reminder. It's so easy to just go through the day wrapped up in my own problems, but your story is a reminder of what a difference we can make to the people around us! So glad you weren't stuck with your flat tire for long :)

  3. This post is a FABULOUS reminder! Thank you so much for sharing, Kristen! You're exactly right... If we just took a minute each day to reach out to people we would literally change the world... It's a lovely thought!
